City of Worcester Community Emergency Response Team, Talent Tabling

As the start of the Spring 2025 semester is here, we have made it a goal for 2025 to reach out to our area colleges to recruit students for our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) who may be interested in joining our program. Our program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness in an all-hazards approach to each step of the emergency management process as well as empowering volunteers to engage as community leaders through events for our constituents. Students are encouraged to use their participation in this program for career preparation, resume building, and connecting with our community in a volunteer capacity in a local government setting that embodies the City of Worcester values of community engagement and social justice.
