Skills & Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in structures and EIT certification are requirements. A master’s degree and/or professional structural engineering licensure are an advantage. The candidate should have experience with various building materials (steel, concrete, wood, & masonry) and should be capable of solving design problems related to unique existing conditions and new design constraints. Our engineers do much of their own drafting so experience with AutoCAD is a must. Experience with design software similar to RAM, EnerCalc, and TEDDS is strongly encouraged/desired.
