Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:

  • Problem Resolution: Utilize the 8D method to resolve product quality issues with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other key teams
  • Process Efficiency: Analyze and recommend improvements in engineering processes to support aerospace and defense product manufacturing
  • Quality Certification: Support compliance with AS9100 standards and maintain MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38535 certifications
  • Product Development Insight: Participate in the manufacturing and development of aerospace and defense electronic products
  • Component Identification: Enhance expertise in identifying electronic components for quality applications

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

  • Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical Engineering
  • GPA: Minimum current GPA of 3.0
  • Writing Ability: Strong writing and analytical skills for professional documentation and problem resolution
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in interacting with stakeholders across various departments
  • Certifications: Experience or understanding of AS9100 and related quality certifications preferred
  • Problem-Solving Tools: Familiarity with the 8D method is preferred
  • Electronic Component Knowledge: Knowledge of or experience with identifying electronic components is a plus
  • US citizen or green card holder: This internship requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $19.00per hour
Maximum of $35.00 per hour

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.

This position is not currently eligible for new H-1B sponsorship.
