It includes the steps we believe are important to take during your first year that will set you up for future career and educational success! It also includes information about our FY1800 class on Discovering Majors and Careers that will be offered A-term and C-term for the 2023-2034 academic year.

FY 1800: Discovering Majors and Careers
Join FY1800, a 1/12 credit course, in A-term or C-term to:

• Understand WPI majors and related careers
• Identify strengths, interests, skills, and values
• Gain confidence in decision making about majors
• Develop a plan for ongoing career exploration

FY 1800 has a few sections offered in A-term and C-term on the following days and times:

• Tuesdays 1:00pm – 1:50pm
• Wednesdays 12:00pm – 12:50pm
• Thursdays 2:00pm – 2:50pm

Learn about all things CDC including, but not limited to: appointment topics, drop-in and availability, the internship and co-op process, and the many CDC resources such as LinkedIn, Handshake, application material templates and samples.
